Nobody reads biographies of subjects they have no prior interest in so reviewing a biography feels kind of pointless

It's a weird feeling to read a Nirvana biography that was initially written while Kurt was still alive (an extra chapter was added after he died), but I guess there won't ever be a Nirvana book with more honestly and directly sourced information. The writing feels a little amateurish but it didn't detract from my enjoyment.

I remember reading 'Scar Tissue' from Anthony Kiedis a couple years back. That was a pretty good one and really captured the vibes of Cali in the 1980s(?), the good with the bad. Books about lead singers can be good read sometimes...they can have quite the stories.
