I often dream about leaving modern life for somewhere utterly remote like Antarctica or one of those uninhabited islands that are barely more than rocks. I will never have the guts to actually follow through, and I am right at home in this book's particular cognitive dissonance. The fantasy makes me happy and I don't give a shit
