A dipshit teen murders his overbearing mom and four distinctly lonely girls project their own issues onto him while all hell breaks loose. The real draw here is Kirino's great talent at diving into the inner world of all these characters, their juvenile worries and self-deception while maintaining a fairly fun almost noir kind of crime story, buckling all under the weight of that classic teen angst.
