Hes gotten so sweet and discursive in his old age lol. Comes across resigned to the present or the near future (it's set in 2027 which is funny). Loved his incursions into Al and international terrorist groups without clear motive lol, maybe those will come true like his other highly prescient incel related predictions! He leaves some storylines kind of unresolved/unanswered... In a way he didn't before I think, in prior novels. He's very interested in dreams, it's his new form of self insert.

I actually think he's a wonderful novelist of "online" in a way that's so rare, probably because he's so aware of culture and doesn't force it. Did France not have the Internet for a while? I guess we'll never know lol
