An Assistant Professor of Insurance at The American College. His responsibilities at The College include writing and preparing text materials for the LUTCF and FSS Programs. He also teaches insurance courses in the Huebner School at The College. Before joining The College, Professor Lynch worked in the insurance and financial services industry for over 30 years. Originally licensed in Life Insurance in 1981, Professor Lynch has also been licensed in Property & Casualty Insurance since 1984. From 1998 through 2004, he built and operated a "scratch" Property & Casualty Agency, as an agency owner with Nationwide Insurance & Financial. Most recently, Professor Lynch was affiliated with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, where he served as a Financial Consultant and Regional Management Associate. Professor Lynch earned a Bachelors Degree from The University of the State of New York, in Albany. He also holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Central State University, Edmond, OK. He is currently enrolled at Wilmington University, completing requirements to earn his Doctor of Business Administration Degree. In addition, Professor Lynch is completing the course requirements for his eighth American College designation, the Chartered Leadership Fellow® (CLF®).
