Sheesh, it's been a minute since I read that Hofstadter article. I could play, but I haven't the spare time or brainpower for thinking through the excessive rules-gaming it requires.
Obviously the first order of business would be to make the initial rules more abstruse and frustrating, and then convolute them from there :P Would love for you to participate! Also very possible there just isn't the enthusiasm for it here, and that's fine as well.
