I just encountered this brief excerpt of Ulysses performed by Zero Mostel on the Dick Cavett Show (1971). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4L_McguEL8&t=3329s (also 3577s) Do there exist any recordings of his "Ulysses in Nighttown" in full? What a performance!

Well John Simon doesn't like him as Bloom — surprise, surprise. He supposedly wrote, "As the Irish Jew . . . he is, so far from being Irish as Paddy’s pig, inconceivable as kosher pork."
