It would be incredibly funny if they went with another songwriter. Edit: I would like to mention that this will be acceptable only if they choose Matt Johnson of The The. Absolutely unreal talent.

The members of the Swedish Academy are all really big Taylor Swift fans. I wouldn't discount the idea.

It'll probably be a woman because of the alternation. Fosse and Ernaux were both extremely obvious European choices so I'm guessing we get an underground author from Asia, South America or Africa. If they're not obscure, I'm guessing Ulitskaya (for political reasons, though she is European), Can Xue, Kim Hyesoon, Yoko Agawa, Mukasonga, or Ananda Devi.
