there are gossip junkies here too, right...? i haven't seen this talked about anywhere: https://www.futuristletters.com/p/the-assassination-of-literature-by the dissection of the céline passage is a highlight. another is max's reddit mod friend running interference for him on /r/truelit. and i need others to join me in my conspiracy theory that max and andrei are the same dude. it's probably not true but it can be true in our hearts

I'm going to have to disagree with the notion that soupcommie is unduly shutting down criticism of Lawton. I've disagreed with them WRT Lawton on the past, both in comments and via DM, and they've been nothing but respectful and reasonable, and partially agreed with me on the Atay issue.
