I'm stuck reading Larry McMurtry's books (it's been a few months already). Last year, it was Paul Auster, and before that, the Jack Reacher series (pure escapism); the year before, John Le Carré (I do regret not reading everything, but that moment is gone now) and Nina Berberova. It's halfway between infatuation and binge. I need to wait it out - at some point, I will hate it and stop. Do you go through the whole corpus of an author? If so, whose work are you currently exploring?

Currently doing this with Vonnegut's work. I picked up Slaughterhouse Five on a whim at the library and, though it didn't completely blow me away, I liked Vonnegut's voice and my library has a good deal of his stuff so I figured why not. So far, I've finished The Sirens of Titan and found that funnier and more enjoyable. Right now I'm going through some of his short stories.
