Looking for contemporary poetry. It feels such a cloistered world now, and the little that pierces the public consciousness seems godawful, so I don't have much of an entry point. Favorites include Celan, Trakl, Sexton, Pessoa, Paz, Borges, and Bishop (scattered I know).
is it too cliche to say Anne Carson? didn't love Wrong Norma, but autobiography of red and 29 tangos are both solid imo
Thanks for the rec, I've been meaning to read Autobiography of Red for a while, this might be the push I needed.
