Stoner is at times extraordinary, but I'm halfway through and I feel Edith is jarringly simplistic. The repetition of Stoner finding passion just for it be dashed by his timidity or his wife, who seems to be hellbent on ruining his life, is beginning to feel dull and rote.

Trying to figure out what to read tonight. Want something kinda cozy. Between the Goldfinch and Cloud Atlas at the moment. Any one got a recomendation in that vein?
