This is the British Marxist critic Terry Eagleton's book on Walter Benjamin, though he immediately lets you know he's not writing an exegesis or a "critical account" of Benjamin's thought, instead often getting at Benjamin by putting his texts in conversation with more immediate intellectual traditions, like British literary criticism or deconstructionism. That's Part One, and then Part Two is a collection of essays on different topics, such as a history of "rhetoric" or a defense of marxist criticism in general (this one is pretty good and worth reading as a stand-alone), sometimes only lightly connected to Benjamin.
