extremely good book that nevertheless remains focused on clinical psychiatry instead of expanding outward, but then not every book needs to be prescriptive in documenting the effects of american cultural imperialism. every one of the chapters is extremely well-written and researched, and while watters talks over himself quite a bit it's still nevertheless true that the people he interviews have practically no idea what they are talking about. every one of the case studies is astonishingly compelling and also have the side effect of being able to be read in one session so i also associate each one of them with a different meal... the japanese one reminds me of this deli sandwich i had which i can no longer find in france
