Feel free to recommend this to people you hate!

This is really, really bad. I've been on a Marquis de Sade kick and this is one of those contemporary slasher books that a lot of people recommend. I do not at all understand why. Written like a redditor who's making a long winded post which anybody over an IQ over 80 can discern is a fake story. It's very clear that the writer is forcibly trying to insert themselves into a perspective that they think they understand, but don't. Even if you look beyond that, every character in this book has zero depth, the writing isn't very good. I will say the last scene was somewhat redeeming, but that was like 2 out of 200 pages. Meh
