I don't know why I thought it might be good but it's bad. First book in a while I had to put down because it is a slog.
I remember getting this as a Christmas gift and reading some number of them offhandedly. Comedy stories that were bland, not quite offensively bland. I think there's one about a guy who is a translator and ends up "translating" The Great Gatsby into English, and it reminded me to read it again.
