The bits about the porn industry and the general entertainment industry were interesting, the book otherwise wasn't anything exceptional. There are some things I am confused about and not in a good way either. At the end it felt a little comical with the 'twist', like a 2000s Disney channel live-action film but for people who mail their friends goatse when they're bored. The writing style got stale after a while too.
