One of the best novels, drags for a bit in the first half (Really have to wait for him to stop talking about babies sucking from the titties but I promise it gets better later) but has some very accurate descriptions of life as a surgery resident and the dangers of liver surgery and ends in a neat tied up bow. I will never forget the description of a Schrock Shunt as long as I live, and pray to never have to use it.
