It’s more the advertising than actual TV for UBIK but I felt I couldn’t leave PKD out of the list. I feel like people see advertising as innocuous little inconveniences that you can ignore and they don’t appreciate that advertising is a whole industry worth billions and companies have gotten brain worms down to a science. I think PKD does a good job of showing how pervasive these little brain worms are and how they can literally warp reality.
Why did UBIK make the list out of curiosity? It's one of my fav books!
