Any introductory-level recommendations about the the reading and analysis of poetry? I love novels, but I want to re-learn sit with form and words and lyricism. I'm not sure how or where to begin.

As Berry mentions, ABC of Reading is great. I also liked Hirsch's How to Read a Poem and Fall in Love with Poetry,

Did you come across those titles before or after you were familiarized with poetry?

I read them both when I was 18 and had been reading poetry for several years, but before I was able to properly analyze a poem (or literature at all). Hirsch might be a better starting point.

Not read it myself but I heard Ezra Pound's ABC of Reading is good
