i really want to get into faulkner, and i just finished the sound and the fury (and loved it). any suggestions for what i should read next?

You completed one of his heavyweight masterworks and can approach his others with confidence. Try another of the major works: Light In August (more straightforward narrative but long), As I Lay Dying (more experimental, short), Absalom Absalom (bit easier than TSatF and a companion piece - my fave). Of his lesser works, my favorite is The Bear. They're all good though.

You should try Pylon. It's one of Faulkner's few 'standalone' books outside the Yoknapatawpha county setting. Very underappreciated and very good.
