Are you a writer? If so, what do you write?

I write about my personal thoughts on the meta-nature of many different aspects of modernity and the near future in such a way so as to allow myself and others the opportunity to avoid unrealized hazard. What I've written thus far is explanatory, descriptive, profound, and raw. Some has greater effect and dynamism, where others prioritize mainly cold, calculated, sedentary truth. What I seek to venture into is discussing these topics through the medium of fiction...some of which may be based on realities, as any good realistic-fiction should be. It is through realistic-fiction of a certain sort in which only the right messages can be conveyed to the right people, and the real story can be told.

I've written many screenplays. Had two deals fall through. Became demoralized and wrote two novels, though the second is still a first draft and it's been over ten years since I worked on it. I still write, but staying on a routine has been harder now than I have a family.

I write philosophy papers and novels (usually weird literary fiction).

I "write" but its been a few months since ive been properly inspired. Ideally I'd like to write nonfiction essays, or thoughts on technology/philosophy or culture. But most of my writing to date has ended up being memoir style, of happenings from my own life.

Curious as to how many of us are. I’ve published a few poems in local and small magazines. I’ve written a novel that’s shit since I began when I was 16 and am working on one more for (hopefully) publication. The first novel was like Faulkner’s typical tale( American town, unreliable narrators, etc.) but obviously massively worse.
