I’m a sucker for romance. Any good quality literature with a romantic plot? For reference, I enjoyed The Sound of Waves by Yukio Mishima, which was beautiful and romantic.
Pride and Prejudice naturally, Jane Eyre too which has the famous line "Reader, I married him." The Sun Also Rises is pretty depressing but love, specifically lost love, is prevalent throughout the book. and Having A Coke with You by Frank O'Hara, it's a poem but imo one of the greatest expressions of love.
oh and A Room with a View too
Love in the Time of Cholera springs to mind.
