Not much to say other than that. Truly one of the best books ever written. Everybody loves from Ishiguro, and it's pretty good, but I think is much, much better. Very creative in how it peels off the layers of the proverbial onion slowly, subtly, shrewdly, and, in the end, devastatingly.

I think about about that scene at the end where Stevens breaks down on the bench while talking to a stranger often. Such a powerful book.
