Years ago, Lit.Salon was a site that was full of promise for what it could bring through being an aesthetic spin on GoodReads. Since then, we've seen it devolve into a series of flame wars that have turned the administrator of the site into a fascist despot who is hellbent on banning and censoring his own users without conversation or appeal....merely the silent push of a button removing voices at will in order that he may build a sterile hugbox devoid of any particular wit or emotion.
This book really dives into the nitty-gritty of how this came to be: from the promising beginnings where the site leader wore his mask well up to the present-day where he's banning Discord Server and site users on a frequent basis.
It's quite a solid read that anyone can finish in about a day's time. Highly recommended, as it delves into the present danger for site users that are posting reviews and in the Salon that they may find themselves one day unable to access their account without reason or warning, but simply just an error message indicating that they can no longer log into their account.

That's the problem with people who run sites and Discord Severs. They often have a God Complex and think they can ban people at will. Good thing they are inside all the time and not out in the real world, otherwise they'd probably hurt people irl. tyvm for this
