[spring] the author has a very keen eye for the internet-induced social malaise and warped behavior of upper-middle class millennials/gen z of this era. i think this is a great book to read when you're frustrated with the world and yourself and need to not feel crazy but i don't think i would re-read it again as it is honestly a very cruel and depressing book.
quick thoughts on each story:
"the feminist" is definitely the best story here
"pics" makes me the most sick to think about i never want to think about it again...
i liked the description of relationship dynamics in "ahegao" a lot, it's quite an underrated aspect of the story
"our dope future" is a weird combination of things that work so well but i can see it filtering people out
"main character" is too fussy
i didn't like "sixteen metaphors" but i appreciate its purpose tonally
"re: rejection" is unnecessary but clever
