Interesting in how the book documents the concepts leading up to transplant surgery as a specialty, particularly the advances in vascular reconstruction by Alexis Carrell learned from embroidery and inspired by an assassination. Some parts are a little preachy and the beginning chapters can be a little boring but the new ideas documented still make the book worth it.
