Amusing how they put in as many J.M. Coetzee books as they could following his naturalisation - in fact, Elizabeth Costello was released only a year after he first moved here. Even his lesser works outplace most Australian literature I suppose.

The Andy Griffiths inclusion is also interesting - its artistic ambitions are debatable compared to like Shaun Tan, but strictly speaking it's an important book. Maybe they should also have Ahn Do.
